This Privacy Policy explains how Binary Toolkit - Base Converter (“the app”), provided by Raut Masters (“we”, “us”, or “our”), handles information when you use the app.

1. Calculations and information stored on your device

The app processes calculations, number conversions, text conversions, and practice exercises on your device. You do not need to create an account or provide your name, email address, or phone number to use these tools.

The app stores information locally to provide its features, including saved calculation inputs and results, saved workspaces, practice statistics, theme preferences, pinned and recently used tools, and a tool-opening counter used to control ad frequency. Saved calculation history is limited to the latest 25 entries, including starred entries.

We do not operate a server that receives your calculation inputs, results, or saved history. The app does not send these contents to AdMob as advertising parameters. Copy and Paste features access the clipboard when you choose those actions; the app does not monitor your clipboard in the background.

2. Advertising and third-party data processing

The app is free and displays advertisements through Google AdMob, using the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Google may collect and share information such as your IP address, approximate location inferred from that address, advertising ID, app set ID and other applicable device or account identifiers, app and ad interactions, and diagnostic or performance information.

Google and its advertising partners use advertising information to deliver and measure ads, provide advertising analytics, prevent fraud, and, where permitted by your choices and applicable requirements, personalize ads. Non-personalized ads may still involve data processing for purposes such as ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.

Google’s handling of this information, including sharing, international processing, retention, and privacy controls, is explained here:

3. Your advertising choices

The app uses Google’s consent tools to request privacy choices where required. The ads available to you depend on applicable requirements, consent choices, and device settings.

You can also manage or delete your advertising ID through Android’s advertising settings, where available, and manage Google ad personalization through Google’s ad settings.

4. Information you provide when contacting us

If you email us, we receive your email address and any information or attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond to your request and resolve support or privacy issues. Please avoid sending sensitive information or calculation contents unless necessary for your request.

5. Data retention and deletion

Local app information remains on your device until you remove it, it is replaced by newer information, or the app’s storage is cleared. When saved calculation history exceeds 25 entries, the oldest entries are removed. You can delete individual saved calculations in the app. The “Clear recent history” action keeps starred calculations.

To remove all locally stored app information from this installation, use Android Settings > Apps > Binary Toolkit > Storage > Clear storage, or uninstall the app. Menu names may vary by device.

Android or device backup services may retain or restore app information according to your backup settings. These backups are controlled through your device or backup provider.

Support correspondence is retained only as needed to handle your request and meet applicable legal obligations. You may contact us to request deletion of correspondence you have sent, subject to any required retention.

Advertising information is retained and managed by Google under its policies. Clearing the app’s storage does not delete information already held by Google.

6. Data security

Local information is stored in the app’s Android storage and benefits from Android’s app storage protections. Google states that data collected by its Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS.

Access to your device and your backup settings also affect the security of local information. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

7. Children’s privacy

The app does not ask children to submit their names, contact details, or other personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through a support request, contact us so we can review the matter and take appropriate action.

The advertising data processing described above is separate from information voluntarily sent to us.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app or its data practices change. The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
